Peter Chew is the Regional Managing Principal of Eight Inc., the global experience design firm widely recognized as “Apple’s best-kept secret and declared by The Economist as “One of the most progressive design firms working today”. He is also Chief Growth Officer of 8 Digital, the innovative technology subsidiary he co-founded under Eight Inc. that ensures customer expectations are met across physical and digital touch-points.
An expert in experience design, Peter orchestrates 8’s multi-disciplinary teams to deliver business transformation programmes for companies across myriad categories and geographies. Working at the intersection of environments, behaviours, communications and products, and possessing a deep understanding of human behavior, Peter connects brands with people on an emotional level to deliver long-term business and social value.
Peter has garnered extensive experience advising industry leaders and spearheading numerous projects from their conceptualization to successful implementation. Notable among his achievements is his work revolutionising retail banking with Thailand’s leading bank, redefining customer experience for Bupa Asia, and elevating luxury hospitality for Thailand’s Crown Property Bureau.
An experienced business strategist, Peter ran several of his own companies prior to joining Eight Inc. in 2016. He holds degrees in Economics and Arts and serves as an Advisor for the National Gallery Singapore and The Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore.
