FIND – Design Fair Asia is proud to continue its collaboration with the Singapore Furniture Industries Council (SFIC) as a partnering association for the event. Together, we aim to spotlight Singapore’s dynamic design landscape and support local brands and companies through the Enterprise Singapore LEAD International Fairs & Mission grant [LEAD IFM Grant].

Singapore Pavilion Participation Option: Exhibit with the SG Collective

SG Pavilion exhibitors can claim up to 50% subsidy for the maximum of 36 sqm exhibition space and booth construction and other qualifying costs. SG Pavilion exhibitors’ documentation needs to follow strict guidelines and timelines. Please work with your contractors and the appointed industry association (TA/C) to comply with ESG funding criteria.

What is the Enterprise Singapore LEAD International Fairs & Mission grant [LEAD IFM Grant]?

Local Enterprise and Association Development Trade Fairs & Business Missions or LEAD IFM by Enterprise Singapore is program supporting locally based companies. Companies participating in LEAD supported trade fairs and business missions can stand to receive funding support. Eligible expenses include exhibition rental space, booth construction, publicity and fair or mission consultancy costs. Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs) can tap on the Local Enterprise and Association Development (LEAD) programme to help enterprises defray part of the costs incurred.

How to apply?

Participation in the SG Pavilion is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. The official LEAD IFM application form will be provided by FIND’s appointed Trade Association and Chambers (TA/Cs), the Singapore Furniture Industries Council (SFIC). The application can only be completed in conjunction with the space rental agreement issued by FIND – Design Fair Asia.

Singapore Pavilion Participation: Exhibitors can choose between different locations, booth types (raw space or shell scheme) and number of sides open. Minimum booth sizes are 9 sqm for shell scheme or 18 sqm for raw space exhibitors. Island booths require a minimum of 36 sqm.

Important to note:

  • Funding is available from ESG’s LEAD International Fairs & Missions (IFM) Grant for eligible companies participating in the Singapore Pavilion.
  • The grant is eligible for the following expenses:
    • Space Rental (up to 36 sqm)
    • Stand Construction (up to 36 sqm)
    • Pavilion Directory (if applicable)
    • Common Area Costs (if applicable)
    • Auditor’s Fee
  • The grant quantum will be up to 50% of eligible costs and for up to a maximum area of 36 sqm for each company.
  • The LEAD IFM grant for FIND 2025 is available only through SFIC. SFIC will submit the claims for the grant on behalf of the companies.
  • An administrative fee ranging from SGD$ 800 – SGD$ 1600 needs to be paid to SFIC (the TA/C) for administering LEAD IFM, depending on if the client is a member or non-member of the appointed TA/C. Fees quoted are before prevailing goods and services tax (GST). This administrative fee is non-claimable and non-refundable under the LEAD IFM.
  • Participating companies are required to complete a Post Show Evaluation Form via the GIVEME platform. Enterprise Singapore will only disburse funds to participating companies which have submitted the evaluation forms. Any companies who did not complete the Evaluation Form will run the risk of not getting their LEAD IFM grant.
  • The grant is given on a reimbursement basis. Participating companies must pay everything in full at least two months before the event begins.
  • Disbursement of the grant will take about 6-8 months after completion of the trade show and depending on the submission of claims.
  • Any companies who do not comply to the participation terms & conditions will be subjected to re-evaluation for future show participation and be blacklisted by ESG for grant funding/s
  • Please note that SFIC and Enterprise Singapore (ESG) reserves the right to verify information provided by the companies. Eligibility and subsidy reimbursement of individual companies are subject to the final claim approval.
  • TA/C shall not misappropriate the participating fees collected from participating companies.
  • Auditor’s Fee: Estimated S$2,600 for engagement of Prequalified Panel of Auditor from Enterprise Singapore to audit accounts for submission of claims for grants to ESG. This is a funding requirement, and the audit fee will be partially funded by ESG Singapore, with the balance cost shared by all participating companies in the Pavilion.

SG Pavilion Eligibility Criteria:

  • Please check with our Partner Association (the TA/C) Singapore Furniture Industries Council (SFIC) or the Enterprise Singapore (ESG) website should you have any additional questions.
  • Participating company must be incorporated/registered (ACRA) and based in Singapore. (Excludes branch office, representative office of foreign companies).
  • Participating company is only allowed to have one other related company in the same event.
  • Participating company fulfills or has at least 3 of the following core business functions operating from Singapore:
  • Market development and planning
  • Business and investment planning
  • Logistics and shipping management
  • Research and development and design function
  • Manufacturing and other value-added activities
  • Banking, financial & treasury functions
