Dongzi Yang is the co-founder and design director of Various Associates. Born in Zhejiang – one of the most poetic city in China .His grandfather is a well-known local feng shui master, and he has been very fond of Chinese art and heritage since childhood.
He focuses on sustainable design and material research, and good at discover the identities of projects based on essence and functionality. He is good at creating a unique space image by combining the artistic conception of the East and the strength of Western structure and aesthetics.
He also is the Jury of FRAME award 2020 and Global Architecture & Design Awards 2022 ，One of youngest winner of UK Andrew Martin Award ,ets. As design director, with his own talent and design ability, he led the VA team to win nearly 100 authoritative design awards in the world in 6 years.
