Join us for a talk on the dynamic intersection between the worlds of contemporary art, craft and design. Part of Singapore Art Gallery Weekend, and organized by the Art Galleries Association of Singapore (AGAS) in collaboration with FIND Design Fair Asia, this talk explores the cross-influences impacting the creative landscape today. Artists are increasingly blurring the boundaries between the language of fine art, the materials and processes of craft, and the functionality of design. Bridging the gap between various disciplines and emerging technologies, these hybrid forms of object-making represent new frontiers in the landscape of contemporary art. The speakers will engage in a public conversation that celebrates the power of creativity to bring together disparate visual forms in visions that look ahead to the future.
