Monika brings a multifaceted design approach to Habitat Architects, drawing from her background in sociology, fashion and interior design, alongside expertise in textiles, colour psychology and strategic design management. An accomplished Entrepreneur and Philanthropist with a keen interest in environmental activism, her talent and expertise have garnered global recognition for the firm.

Over the years, she has strengthened her practice and passion, creating a unique signature style that blends Indian roots with global design awareness and specialising in artisanal yet contemporary designs that create a cohesive story that speaks to the inhabitants and enhances their experience of the space. In addition to her strategic and creative contributions, Monika is dedicated to environmental sustainability and creating meaningful, impactful spaces that promote the paradigm of mind-body wellness. She is a member of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization), EO (Entrepreneur Organization), Governing body member & former Chairperson of the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industries Ladies wing (FICCI FLO). She speaks regularly at Design events, and has won many awards and accolades for her work at Habitat. Her motto, ‘Only change is constant,’ is the hallmark of her practice.
