As Design Director, Lucas leads a team of designers and stakeholders on luxury hotel projects in diverse destinations, with expertise gleaned in Japan and China on highly awarded hotels such as Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono, completed in early 2020. Prior to joining BAR Studio in 2016, Lucas was the founding designer of CHAO, an independent hotel brand established in Beijing.
